According to the Department of Examination, the GCE A/L 2024 results will be made public after the Sinhala Tamil New Year.
The results of the GCE Advanced Level exam should be released to the public following the Sinhala Tamil New Year, according to Commissioner General of Examinations Amit Jayasundara.

Regarding news reports on the publication of the GCE Advanced Level exam results, the Department of Examinations has released a special statement.
The statement claims that recent media stories concerning the A/L results are untrue.
The agency stressed that the release of the A/L results has not yet been officially announced.
Therefore, it is recommended that the students not be mislead by false information disseminated via different media outlets.
