Required Qualifications (in short)
Applicants must meet these key requirements
- Must be a teacher currently in service
- Must have at least 5 years of teaching experience (as of April 1, 2026)
- Must be born on or after April 2, 1990
- Must be physically and mentally healthy
- Must be willing to learn Japanese and follow instructions given in Japanese
- Must be able to arrive in Japan during the designated period
- Must not be serving military duty
- Must not be receiving another scholarship at the same time
