The President’s Office announced today that the Rs. 10,000 allowance provided through the President’s Fund for schoolchildren affected by Cyclone Ditwah has officially commenced.
The necessary funds have been allocated to all District Secretariats. Students who previously received the Rs. 15,000 government allowance are also eligible for this additional support.
As outlined by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake during the recent budget presentation, each affected schoolchild will receive a total financial assistance of Rs. 25,000. (Source: Newswire)
