This recruitment includes vacancies for both Probationary Police Constables and Probationary Sub Inspectors of Police. ICT Posts – Educational Qualifications
For posts 01 to 10, applicants should have:
- Passed six subjects at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in one sitting.
- Four credit passes must include the medium language, Mathematics, Science and English.
- Passed any three subjects at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in one sitting, excluding the General Test.
ICT Posts – Professional Qualifications
Applicants for Web Editor, Web Developer, System Analyst, Computer Software Package Instructor, Computer, Graphic Designing Instructor, Computer Hardware and Networking Instructor, Programmer, Network System Administrator and Database Administrator should possess:
- NVQ Level V Diploma relevant to the field; or
- An equivalent qualification recognised by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission; or
- A recognised computer literacy course covering file management, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, internet and email.
Applicants with an NVQ Level V qualification should generally possess at least six months of relevant experience. Applicants without professional qualifications should possess at least three years of relevant professional experience.
