How to Download the Admission Card
- Visit the official Department of Examinations admission portal.
- Select the relevant examination from the available examination list.
- Enter the requested candidate information, such as your National Identity Card number or index number.
- Check the displayed examination and candidate details.
- Download the admission card in PDF format.
- Print the admission card and keep it safely for the examination.
GCE A/L Exam 2026 Timetable
The GCE Advanced Level Examination 2026 is scheduled to be conducted from 10 August 2026 to 5 September 2026. Candidates should check the timetable carefully and confirm the examination date, session and starting time allocated to each subject.
Morning and afternoon examination sessions may have different starting times. Candidates must follow the exact date and time shown on their official admission card and timetable.
GCE A/L 2026 Admission Amendments
Private candidates who find incorrect information on their admission card can use the Department of Examinations online admission amendment system.
Available Admission Amendments
- Amendment of the candidate’s name
- Addition or change of examination subjects
- Change of examination medium
- Change of gender information
- Change of postal address
Amendment Restrictions:
- A name amendment can be submitted only three times.
- A subject or examination-medium amendment can be submitted only once.
- Applicable amendment fees must be paid through the available payment method.
How to Make an Admission Amendment
- Visit the official online examination information centre.
- Log in to the system using your National Identity Card number.
- Find the section named G.C.E. (A/L) Examination 2026 – Private Admission Amendments.
- Read the official instructions before starting the amendment.
- Select the type of amendment required.
- Enter the corrected information accurately.
- Check the amendment summary before proceeding.
- Pay the applicable fee using a credit or debit card or the available Post Office payment method.
- Download and save the amended PDF document after completing the process.
