School students affected by floods, landslides, or other disasters can receive Rs. 25,000 from the President’s Fund for educational purposes.
How to Apply:
1. Obtain the application form
You can obtain this application form from your Divisional Secretariat.
(Depending on the region, it can also be obtained from the Grama Sevaka Kachcheri.)
2. Fill the application form correctly
Complete all the sections mentioned in the application form:
- Student’s details
- Home address
- Date of disaster and damage
- School details
- Details of the parents
- Declaration page
3. Submit the filled application form to the Grama Niladhari (GN Officer).
After the confirmation of the GN officers, the application will be forwarded to the Divisional Secretariat.
4. Approval and disbursement of assistance
Once the application is verified and approved, the student affected by the disaster will be provided with an amount of Rs. 25,000.
