Description
- Along with theories, concepts, and fundamental management and legal issues, the Diploma in Banking and Finance (DBF) degree covers the whole banking and finance industry’s operational environment and provides a strong foundation with the industry’s core characteristics. Additionally, it offers chances to improve presentation abilities.

Eligibility
- Any stream with three (03) simple passes in a single sitting can take the GCE (A/L) in Sri Lanka, or an equivalent overseas test; OR,
- Degree from a recognized Sri Lankan university or a foreign degree that has been authorized by the University Grants Commission (UGC); OR,
- A professional degree from an accredited university in Sri Lanka or outside; OR,
- A partial degree from a professional or academic institution in Sri Lanka or overseas, provided that the degree is approved by the institution and is equal to Level 2 of the Sri Lanka Qualification Framework (SLQF) or NVQ 4 of the National Vocational Qualification Levels of Sri Lanka; OR,
- Mature Entry: Subject to the Institute’s approval, individuals over eighteen (18) who work in the banking or finance sector and have at least eight (08) years of experience, as demonstrated by a letter of reference from their employer, are eligible to register under this category; OR,
- Any additional qualifications that the Institute has authorized.
